This week we will begin Unit 2, Defining Style where we will explore how an author crafts narrative texts.  We will explore a variety of narratives. We will then shift to view how authors craft argumentative texts.  
    Vocabulary will be a foundation of our unit. It will be important that you take time to independently read and study vocabulary outside of class. You can join the class Quizlet to help you:

Your Build a Room project is due on Friday September 20, 2019.  In addition, you will begin writing responses to your writing using our Independent Reading prompts.
