Please note that there are several important due dates including your double-entry journals and artistic responses for your parallel reading. You were responsible for choosing a Coming of Age novel and developing 6 dialectal (Double Journal entry) reflections. EACH reflections should include a quote (MLA format) your chosen novel (4 sentences or more) of significance: characterization, plot, literary element, etc. Your final submission should be completed on or before August 31, 2018. In addition, you will create a thematically based artistic response for your Coming of Age novel. This response will be presented to the class beginning August 29th. You must accompany your artistic response with a rationale, explaining the choices you made and the connection between the piece and the novel.
