The rhetorical appeals of ethos, pathos and logos will be the center of our study this week. We will begin by exploring the "Remarks by the President in a National Address to America's Schoolchildren." This speech was delivered on September 8, 2009 at Wakefield High School and broadcast to students all over the nation. We will use this speech to increase our understanding of ethos, pathos and logos. For this unit you will write an argumentative research paper answering the question: Is a Four-Year degree valuable?
